Language learning for kids 2–8

Talk, play, and learn with Pepe.

PepeLingo is a voice-first app where your child learns a new language by talking with Pepe the Parrot. No reading, no typing: just listening, pointing, and speaking out loud.

What your child sees

Pepe says “manzana,” an apple rolls in, and Pepe listens. No words on screen, ever.

How it works

Before they can read, they can talk, and Pepe talks back.

Each session takes a few minutes and follows the way little children pick up language: hear it, see it, say it, use it again.

  1. 01 · Listen

    “Manzana.”

Pepe says a word and shows it. An apple rolls onto the table.

  2. 02 · See

    No translation needed.

The scene shows what the word means, so your child never has to read a thing.

  3. 03 · Speak

    “Your turn!”

Pepe tilts his head and listens. Close counts: little voices are still learning.

  4. 04 · Use it again

Days later, in a new scene.

Words come back in new pictures and sentences until they really stick.

Meet Pepe

A funny, patient friend, not a flashcard.

Pepe is curious, a little dramatic, and very fond of mangoes. Children don’t open a lesson. They go and talk to Pepe.

  • Short and silly

Pepe talks in tiny lines, shows before he explains, and sometimes an apple falls on his head.

  • Never says “wrong”

Close answers get “Almost! Listen…” and a warm replay. Nobody fails with Pepe.

  • Gets things wrong on purpose

“Is that a gato?” Pointing at a dog. Your child gets to correct the parrot.

  • Talks more of the new language over time

As your child understands more, Pepe speaks more of the new language. He never switches because of a timer.

For parents

See exactly what your child can say.

Words turn from gray to yellow to green only after your child shows they know them, in different scenes and days apart. One lucky repeat never counts.

Our promises

Built for little ones, and for the grown-ups who trust us.

  • No ads. Ever.

No ads, no ad trackers, and nothing sold to anyone.

  • No reading or typing

Everything your child does is listening, pointing, and talking.

  • Your child’s voice stays on the phone

Speech is understood on the device. We don’t record, store, or upload your child’s voice.

  • No streak guilt

No pressure, no nagging, no “Pepe misses you.” Short sessions that end while it’s still fun.

  • Grown-ups hold the keys

Settings and purchases sit behind a grown-up check. Children never see a price.

  • Checked by a person

Every word and sentence is reviewed by a person before your child hears it.
